twinkle in my eye

The boys have been entertaining lately. It makes me happy. I'm torn about their growth. Ethan's tiny little self is adorable but they sure get funner as they grow. Every now and then I glance over at Emerson while we read in his rocking chair and I notice he's taking up more space in the chair. It's a tight fit right now but somehow we make it work.

Emerson started preschool. One day I picked him up early, as I waited by the door the children were going to a new station in a different room, as they walked by I could hear one of them singing and wondered who it was until he got close enough then I realized it was Emerson. He sounded so happy, I think he likes preschool and definitely music!


Which is great because we're in a children's music class. If Ethan were older he'd do it too...but that doesn't stop him either. No, No, Emerson makes sure Ethan and I listen to "his songs" at home. And around 16 months ethan surprised us with his own little tune singing, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." The little man would sing the entire song on his own!
