Nana's Bow Ties

I've been busy sewing bow ties. For those of you interested here's an awesome tutorial. First I made some for our boys and loved them. Then I decided to make more for friends and family. So far everyone seems happy with them. These pink ones are actually for my friend. Her son get's married next week and her grandkids are going to wear these for the rehearsal and the wedding!

Vanity

We refinished our vanity, yay! It'd been tucked away for a long time. Shawn helped me with the sanding, and last week I finished painting it. I love it!

A Little Man Birthday Party

From Remodelling to Decorating

My husband's done an amazing job executing the projects we've envisioned for our home. And now it's my turn. As he finishes a project rooms in our home are becoming available for us to furnish and decorate so we can use them. I look forward to those days. But sometimes struggle envisioning what the finished room should look like. I wonder if that happens to professional decorators? I think I'm at the point where I need to call one!

One of my favorite things to do is to find amazing deals on beautiful furniture like this sectional. Someday I'll sit on this couch and think of our remodelling days.
